Editing Styles

With our basic editing service, each of your images is edited individually in Lightroom. We don't just batch your images, but edit each one for correct white balance, exposure, brightness, and contrast.  When needed we'll crop to straighten an image, but other than that no cropping is done.  Your unique editing style is taken into consideration since our goal is to hand over a set of images you're happy to pass on to your client.  Below are some sample images to give you an idea of what we can do with your images and to get an idea of what will best fit your needs.  We ask that you fill out our Editing Questionnaire for each new job so we know your goals.  Are you looking for clean edits, or does a clean pop fit your style?  Do you want any B&W's mixed in? Do you tend to edit on the warmer side, or do you lean towards cooler editing?  We're happy to do a set of 5 free sample edits to give you an idea of how our services will work for you.  Just fill out the Contact Form and let us know you're interested and we'll get everything setup.

Basic Editing Styles

SOOC - This image is "straight out of camera" and has no editing done to it.

Clean Edit - An adjustment of color, exposure, brightness, and contrast to give you a good clean base to either take into Photoshop for further editing or pass to your client as is.

Clean Pop - A Clean edit with a bit of a boost.

Vintage - A slightly hazy edit that can be warmed up to create a warm vintage.

Standard B&W - A standard B&W with just the right amount of contrast and depth.

Vintage B&W - A hazier B&W with less contrast and a touch of warmth.

Each session is custom edited to the clients specification using the above as a basic guide. Below are a few examples of edits that have been done.  I work with each photographer to perfect their custom edit so it fits their needs.  Whether you are handing over the Lightroom edit to the client, prefer to edit it further yourself, or would like a full custom Photoshop edit, I'll customize your files to fit your needs.
